  • Perhaps D&H will rewrite the customer applications that only work with the Win3/95 compatibility built in to XP? Or MS can add that back into NT 6.x versions of Windows? XP Embedded will be supported until 2017 and its service packs same as XP. Actually Wine is more compatible with older business applications that won't work with Vista/Win7/8. And you can't "upgrade" to newer Windows: M$ was too lazy to make a usable migration tool. It is easier to *migrate* to Linux than newer Windows (current NT 6.x). M$ OS timetable indicates 2016 will bring NT 7 codebase Windows; I can wait.
