  • Adobe has no credibility. TODAY I received emails (and many of our end users did as well) that clearly used an email database of existing Adobe software registrations. The emails pitched additional Adobe products and included prominent buttons for "BUY NOW" and an 800 number to call to buy direct. No mention of us as the BP that sold the initial license and not even "or call your preferred reseller" (which at least HP does). We spend the time to educate customers, set them up with trials, maybe do a little training and then sell some initial licenses. Then Adobe comes along and wants the low hanging fruit that exists because we planted the seeds.
