Hewlett-Packard Tuesday extended its partnership with Google with the launch of several new Chromebooks, dubbed the HP Chromebook 14, targeted at the business and education market.

  • Well, the market for Google Chromebooks is about to get crowded, especially when the Intel Haswell-based Chromebooks reach the market with their 9-hour battery run-time and snappier processors. The original Chromebook builders, Acer and Samsung are now joined by Asus, HP, Lenovo and Toshiba. This is good news for all of us who adopted the Chromebook as a useful and carefree computing device. The techno-savvy pundits who dumped on the Chromebook should enjoy eating their words.
