Syrian Electronic Army's DNS hijacking attack on the NY Times website is being blamed on a domain reseller security lapse, but channel executives say any impact on the channel will be short lived.

  • Incidents such as this caused me to sign up for Godaddy's 2-factor authentication option. Username/password gets you to a screen that requires that you enter a numeric code that is sent to your pre-enrolled mobile phone. Without the code you can't get into the account to change anything.
