  • When you're already dealing with a loss of confidence, having it become known that you can't even keep track of your software licensing just makes it that much worse. Just think of the software companies paying taxes on sales of products to the IRS only to find out that licenses were under-purchased. Isn't there a late purchasing fee and penalties with interest that should be charged here? When the IRS does the audit, does the tax payer get the option to simply do things better in the future?
