  • So last I researched, Microsoft is the only cloud vendor that does everything from IaaS to PaaS to SaaS to Storage and the only one that has complete built-in integration every part of the way, not to mention a strong play in consumer as well as enterprise cloud, a longer cloud track record than almost anyone (Hotmail and online updates go back over 15 years), and undeniable staying power in every one of the cloud categories, yet you only include them in the SaaS category. It would appear to me that either you’re woefully underinformed (about Microsoft’s broad set of cloud solutions and presence) or have some other agenda about who gets mentioned in what category, either of which is sad (but not totally unexpected) IMHO. Lot's of interesting vendors in the categories, but I would suggest that, in each of the IaaS, PaaS, and Storage category top 20 lists, there was at least one significant omission - so, call me an MS fanboy if you want, just sayin' that, given the criteria I call out above, I would have mentioned them in the additional categories too.
