Los Alamos To Rip Out Chinese Networking Gear For Security Concerns

Los Alamos National Laboratory is replacing switches made by China-based H3C Technologies. The move is prompted by a growing concern about targeted attacks and intellectual property theft.

Personally I think Los Alamos overreacted. HP bought out Huawei's portion of the 3com Huawei partnership. So the firmware was most likely written by HP. There is however a definite danger from Huawei products.
