Microsoft needs to do whatever it takes to get all of the Big Four carriers to adopt the Lumina 900 if it really wants to get the Windows Phone party started. That might mean mending some fences but a limited roll-out to one or two carriers isn't going to be enough to entice users to switch to a different carrier just to get this phone. Without naming names I can tell you that there is at least one carrier that I prefer never to do business with. If they were my only choice, I would have to stick with my current phone and current carrier even though I really want to make the switch to the new Windows Phone sooner rather than later.
Agreed, @Bob N. I don't think a limited roll out or exclusive partnership is the right move for Microsoft right now. The Lumia 900 had a lot of buzz in Vegas during CES, and they need to keep that going.
