Some HP channel partners who'd been giving Mark Hurd the benefit of the doubt are doing so no longer after detailed allegations of sexual harassment against the ex-HP CEO.

Allred admitted it was lies once she got the money. Hurd is another victim of that extortion machine, and his board didn't have his back. He seems to be doing fine at Oracle.

Agree with long fan; how does anyone know what really went on here. This is an extortion letter and it sure worked -- so much so that Fisher now says it's lies and she's sorry Hurd lost his job. What a ditz. Not sure about HP's board -- they haven't had a good run since his departure.

It's important to remember, too, that HP's investigation into the sexual harrassment claims cleared Hurd and that he was fired for other reasons. And given the discord between the board and Hurd at the time, I doubt the company was trying to sweep the issue under the rug.
